Adele recently showed her sassy side this past Tuesday night at the Brit Awards when she flashed her middle finger. When Adele took the stage to accept her second award for that night, for Album of the Year, she was then interrupted by that night's host, actor James Corden who was ready to go ahead and introduce Blur, who were to perform right after Adele had accepted her award. "Nothing beats coming home with six Grammys and then coming to the Brits and winning album of the year." Said Adele to the audience as then Corden stepped onstage next to Adele to excuse her. His appearance onstage was then reportedly booed. "Are you about to cut me off? Can I just say then, goodbye and I'll see you next time round?" Adele asked Corden right before flipping him off which then caused to room to cheer loudly. After the interruption had happened, the rep for the Brits Awards had said that "The Brits are a live event. The program was overrunning and we had to move on. We would like to apologize to Adele for the interruption." As for Adele, she kind of apologized after the broadcast. "They cut me off, sorry if I offended anyone but the suits offended me." As for Adele's gesture at the Brit Awards, it makes it the second time this month that the middle finger has been in the news. Other time during the Super Bowl during Madonna's performance.
