In Naples Florida, police say this Naples man still remains in jail for felony charges after leaving McDonald's without paying for a cup of soda. According to the McDonald's manager, Mark Abaire, 52, entered the McDonald's restraint and asked for a glass of water. The employee had told Abaire that the cup was only for water, but Abaire still filled the cup with soda and walked outside. The McDonald's manager had a conversation with Abaire about him having to pay for the soda (which was $1) but Abaire refused to pay for the soda and refused to leave the premises as well. After police were called Abaire was arrested. Abaire's charge was petty theft, but then was increased into a felony since Abaire had previous petty theft convictions in Florida. In the state of Florida, a third-degree felony can result in a sentence up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Abaire also faces additional charges for trespassing and disorderly intoxication. At the moment he is still remaining in Collier County Jail with a bond set of $6,500.

$60 Light Bulb
How much would you pay for an efficient, environment friendly light bulb? Shoppers will be asking themselves this question starting on Earth Day-with the bulb that won a $10 million government contest that will soon be going on sale. Congress launched this contest in 2007, with a goal of creating a new type of light bulb to replace the standard, energy-wasting "incandescent" 60-watt bulb. The contest decided that the winning bulb should be sold at least $22 in its first year in the market. This light bulb is the most energy-efficient yet, lasts about 20 years, and gives off an natural-looking light. Depending on where this bulb is found, its price range can range from $20-$60 dollars.

Titanic's 100th Anniversary
Already a century has gone by since the luxurious Titanic ship has met its end in the North Atlantic, which plugged 2 miles down until hitting the Atlantic floor after getting struck by an iceberg, which caused it to sink. Instead of meeting their intended voyage to the Port of New York, a deep sea grave became the final resting place for the magnificent ship on April 15th, 1912. Over 1,500 people lost their lives that night due to the disaster. Years after the sinking of the Titanic, Titanic has inspired many books and several films while still continuing to make headlines. Titanic's story has left a powerful impact on the public with its heart breaking story and still continues today.
